Service Description
Did someone call you offering technical computer support or claiming your computer has been infected with a virus or hacked? Did they claim to be from Microsoft? This is a common tech scam. Phishing scams like these are attempts by scammers to trick you into giving out your personal information such as your bank account numbers, passwords, and credit card. Bring your device to FTS and we will make sure they can't get back into your computer and go over the steps you will need to take to secure your information. . *PLEASE PROVIDE DETAILS OF THE ISSUE*, or we may not accept the appointment* Symptoms are helpful in speeding along the process, please let us know why you think you have a virus or were compromised . This service can take anywhere from 1-3 days depending on the issue, some virus removal can take longer. Please plan accordingly. Thank you! *Additional Fee for VIRUS REMOVAL, STARTS AT $150 - DIAGNOSTIC FEE WILL BE APPLIED TOWARDS COST
Cancellation Policy
When you book your appointment, you are reserving a time slot on our calendar that is no longer available to others. To be respectful of fellow clients, please cancel at least 24 hours in advance using the link in your confirmation email and text us at (541) 590-2474 as soon as you know you can’t make it. Due to the rise in no-shows and same-day cancellations, a non-refundable $15 deposit is required when scheduling, and a $50 fee will be charged to the card on file for missed appointments. You may cancel or reschedule through your confirmation link as long as it is within the 24-hour window. By booking, you also agree to the flat diagnostic rate of $85. Most issues can be identified or resolved during the diagnostic and tune-up process, which is why this service is charged as a flat rate. Please note that the $85 diagnostic covers the assessment and initial troubleshooting only; additional services or repairs that may be needed to resolve your issue will be quoted based on the appointment type you booked or at the time of service. We prefer cash or check for payment, but cards are accepted with a 3% processing fee, and payment is collected after the diagnostic and/or repair is complete.
